POV | What started it all for Brampton's Dark Knight

Meet Canada's Batman. He regularly patrols the streets of Brampton on foot and in his Batmobile. It all started with his own Bruce Wayne moment, when he was 14 years old. Here's his story as told to Now or Never host Ify Chiwetelu.

"I lived with my dad for a small period of time. During that time, the two other half siblings ended up living with dad. 
One of them unfortunately got himself into drugs. During one of the nights that he was under the influence, there was a fight between dad and himself. He had a pair of scissors. During the fight, he found (sic) the pair of scissors into dad's jugular vein. He went outside and sat down and waited for the ambulance. Because the ambulance had a hard time getting into the complex, dad passed away in hospital."

Ify: Do you ever feel like something could have happened differently if you were home?

"Yes. I was still a kid, still a teenager, but I do know that if I was there, chances are something different would have happened."
