This morning, 007 buffs got the sad news that classic James Bond actor Roger Moore has died. He was 89.

From 1973 to 1985, Moore played Bond in seven films, from A View to a Kill to Live and Let Die, and is considered to be one of the franchise's finest.

What many people forget, though, is just how funny — and sometimes downright cheesy — many of his Bond films were.

So here are a few favourite scenes, from a gondola chase to a harrowing helicopter scene to a lunch date with crocodiles.
