John Krasinski on A Quiet Place, life after The Office and how he feels about you calling him 'Jim'

John Krasinski is one of those actors who you might only recognize as a character — and he knows it.

His breakthrough role as Jim Halpert on the long-running sitcom The Office established his career and helped pave the way for new opportunities, like his latest project, A Quiet Place. Part horror and part family drama, A Quiet Place is a truly quiet film, as the majority of the dialogue is communicated through American Sign Language.

Krasinski, who directs, stars in and co-wrote the film, talks to Tom Power about its themes of family and parenthood, his role on The Office, and how he really doesn't mind being called "Jim" instead of "John."

A Quiet Place comes out in theatres across Canada on Friday, April 6.
