One of the most exciting and unassuming indie musicians in the world is Canadian. Andy Shauf is a singer-songwriter from Regina who creates an entire world in his music. On the release day of his highly-anticipated new album, The Neon Skyline, Shauf and his band dropped by the q studio to perform a few songs from the record: Neon Skyline, Try Again and Things I Do.

He was joined by Colin Nealis on keys and backing vocals, Josh Daignault on bass, Chris Bezant on guitar, Karen Ng on clarinet and Philippe Melanson on drums. The Neon Skyline is out today. Shauf will be on tour across the U.S. and Canada until May.
