Scott Aukerman is an Emmy-nominated writer who came up with the world's most awkward talk show, Between Two Ferns. On the show, actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis grills celebrities with bumbling and often antagonistic questions, all while sitting between two potted ferns.

Somewhere hidden within Galifianakis' bizarre behaviour is a shrewd critique of celebrity culture. Now, a full-length movie adaptation of Between Two Ferns, directed by Aukerman, has just hit Netflix.

Aukerman joined q host Tom Power live in studio to tell us more about the film and, presumably, to make us all uncomfortable.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie is out on Netflix today.
