D.W. Waterson explores the Toronto DJ scene in her web series That's my DJ, giving the audiences a window onto that drug-fuelled and sometimes dark world.

Waterson has been a DJ for years, but it wasn't until 2014 that she decided to turn what was her daily life into a web series. That's my DJ follows a group of young promoters and DJs in Toronto who take the phrase "work hard, play harder" to a whole new level.

Waterson talks with Tom Power in the q studio about how she used her experience as a DJ to create her award-winning series, and reflects on the dark side of the industry that she's determined to bring awareness to.

The third and final season of That's my DJ is out on July 7.
