What if you could be the fly on the wall to casual conversations between some of your heroes? Well, Naomi Sniekus is making that a reality.

Sniekus is a writer and actor who you may know from her roles on shows like Mr. D, and a few weeks ago, she started a podcast called Firecracker Department

Each week, she talks to a woman in the Canadian film and television industry and not just ones in front of the cameras, but those behind the cameras too.

"It's a chance to have some inspiration reverberated," Sniekus explains, of representing a variety of roles in the industry. "To hear someone's journey helps pave the way and can be helpful for your own pursuit of dreams."

Sniekus's interviews are often in-depth conversations that reveal things we might otherwise not know about these people. Her trick? "Maybe the wine?"
