Snowblink explores love and loss in 'Returning Current'
Their romance may have ended, but they can't stop the music.
Daniela Gesundheit and Dan Goldman of Snowblink admit that it's been "weird and hard" to keep their band together even after their marriage ended, but they're buoyed by their creative chemistry.
Today they join guest host Piya Chattopadhyay to preview their new album Returning Current and shed light on what it's like to work with the one that didn't quite get away.
"We don't have any models for this in our personal lives," says Gesundheit. "I think we just tried to focus on the undeniable aspects, and our musical collaboration felt undeniable and unshakeable."
"We were married from the second that we heard each other play, in a musical sense," adds Goldman.
The new album is out September 9. You can listen to the first two singles here.
Plus, watch them perform How Now with supergroup Hydra, featuring Feist and AroarA at Hillside Festival in 2014.
