#QtheFuture: Daniel Richler guest hosts Feb. 2 - 6

Get to know the first guest host of February: seasoned arts observer Daniel Richler.
Seasoned broadcaster Daniel Richler brings us into February, taking over the host chair from February 2 to 6. For over 30 years, Richler has worked on on television as a host, reporter and director in Canada, the U.S. and the UK. 

He has appeared on The New Music (City-TV/MuchMusic), The Journal (CBC), Imprint (TVOntario), Big Life (Newsworld) and Richler, Ink. (BookTelevision), as well as CHOM- FM and CFNY in his earlier days. 

In the producer seat he helped design and launch a variety of TV programs, from the comix and science fiction compendium Prisoners of Gravity to BookTelevision, the world's only 24-hour literary channel. 

He's also the author of the novel Kicking Tomorrow, and has travelled widely as a print journalist focusing on the arts, alternative culture and digital media. 

For the last ten years he's lived in London, England where among other things he directed the authoritative scientific history of the undead  Real Vampires for the Discovery Channel. Previously, he lived in Montreal and Toronto.
