They're usually awake at sunrise — but not because they got up early.

Toronto electronic group Keys N Krates are one of Canada's most popular EDM acts, and they're no strangers to pulling all nighters on stage. Today they swing through studio q as our Friday Live band, performing three charged tracks from their new EP Midnite Mass.

David Matisse, Adam Tune and Greg "Junior Flo" Dawons also sit down with Shad to discuss how EDM is redefining what it means to be a live band in 2016, and why camaraderie is important in the Canadian music scene.

"You run into everyone on the way up," says Matisse.
