Jian speaks with Anne Marie Owens, the first woman to lead a national newspaper in Canada, about taking on the job of editor-in-chief at The National Post at a difficult time for newspapers generally.

Owens has had a distinguished career as a journalist. She was part of the original team that launched the Post in 1998, and rose up steadily through the ranks. Then, in 2011, she jumped ship for to Maclean's Magazine, where she served as Deputy Editor for the past three years.
