Drake's choreography in his new video for Hotline Bling has been compared to many things — not all of them flattering. As the internet continues to cheer and jeer at the Toronto rapper, Shad checks in with Jezebel writer Kara Brown, who argues that Drake is, quite consciously, the biggest dork in hop hip.
Though not choreographed, Brown argues that Drake's unique moves are very deliberate, and that upsetting expectations is very much a part of his brand.
