'Listen to Me Marlon' peels back the layers of Brando
Filmmaker Stevan Riley discusses his audacious new documentary about acting genius Marlon Brando.
"A good con man can fool anybody. The first person that you fool is yourself."
Even longtime fans of acting genius Marlon Brando may not know much about the man behind the roles. Stevan Riley wants to change that.
The filmmaker joins guest host Tom Power to discuss his audacious new documentary Listen to Me Marlon, which explores the life and work of the actor who became iconic with films like A Streetcar Named Desire, The Godfather, and Apocalypse Now. Riley's portrait hinges on the actor's own words, preserved in intimate audiotapes of Brando himself.
