No Land's Man: Aasif Mandvi on life as an 'insider-outsider'

Actor and comedian Aasif Mandvi, best known as The Daily Show's "Muslim Correspondent", joins guest host Piya Chattopadhyay to discuss his introspective and autobiographical book, No Land's Man. 

On Jon Stewart's show, Mandvi is billed as an expert on the Middle East, Islam and "all things brown" -- but his book works through the nuanced truth behind the satire. 

The Muslim, British, Indian, American entertainer reflects on inhabiting the spaces between cultures, and how his outsider status fuels his craft. 

"I often talk about myself as kind of a turducken -- an Indian baby, wrapped in a British schoolboy, wrapped in an American adult."
