RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!! ARE YOU READY TO MEET GRINDMOTHER? (Grindmother/Facebook)

Some people go quietly into old age — but at 67, The Grindmother is still kicking and screaming. She's the first grandmother to front a grindcore band, and she's not shying away from blood-curling howls, heavy percussion and  charged political statements.

Today she joins guest host Talia Schlanger to share how she got into grindcore, how her past work as a social worker informs her music, and why it feels so good to scream so loud.
