Carly Rae Jepsen speaks with guest host Tom Power about how she stayed grounded after the sudden success of her hit "Call Me Maybe".

Vancouver's international hitmaker Carly-Rae Jepsen is back with Emotion — an unconventional pop record that channels an 80s aesthetic. Jepsen joins guest host Tom Power to discuss her deeply personal songwriting process, her attraction to decades-old music, and why she took a break after her smash hit single, Call Me Maybe.

"I didn't want to make a pure pop album. I knew that transition from what I was known for was gonna take time for the public — and for me."

WEB EXTRA | Jepsen says I Really Like You is the most lighthearted of the entire album. But her personal favourite of the moment is Warm Blood. Check out both tracks below.
