Parker Posey feels reinvigorated by Irrational Man

Actress Parker Posey — the quirky comic favourite in Christopher Guest films like Best in Show — talks to Shad about her long-running career playing eccentrics in indie movies and TV shows, and her latest role in the Woody Allen drama Irrational Man.
The acting world is a very different place now than it was when Posey first rose to fame in the 90s, and — as she confides to Shad — questioning her place in the culture brought her close to quitting before Irrational Man re-lit her spark.
In the film, Posey plays a headstrong science professor named Rita who's determined to seduce the "irrational man" of the hour, a philosophy professor with writer's block played by Joaquin Phoenix.
