Six artists, four rounds, one chance to become q's first ever artist in residence. Today, two more artists unveil their commissioned works on the theme, "I'm sorry you're offended".

Amiel Gladstone 

Amiel Gladstone is a West Coast-based writer and director. One of Canada's most prolific and versatile directors, his productions have been both site specific in unusual venues and in traditional theatres, including numerous world premieres. 

In response to our theme, Gladstone wrote a piece performed by Ms. Norick's Grade 2/3 class at Queen Victoria Annex in East Vancouver. 


Drew Hayden Taylor

Drew Hayden Taylor is an award winning Ojibway playwright, novelist, scriptwriter and columnist. He was born and raised on the Curve Lake First Nation in central Ontario and has done everything from stand up comedy to directing. Cerulean Blue, his 27th book, has just been released. 

In response to our theme, he wrote a personal essay.
