Opera star Christine Goerke on finding one's voice

International opera star Christine Goerke -- one of the world's most sought-after dramatic sopranos -- is set to make her highly anticipated debut as Brünnhilde in the Canadian Opera Company's staging of Wagner's Die Walküre.

Today she joins guest host Shad to talk to her about her modest upbringing on Long Island, how she overcame a devastating vocal crisis and why she plugs her ears when she hears recordings of herself.
