Sugar Sammy's multilingual act has been killing it in Quebec. Will his unique mix work in Europe?
A few years ago, Montreal comedian Sugar Sammy did something kind of radical: he created a stand-up show in English and French. It was an idea few had tried, even in Quebec, but the appetite for it was so large that it even surprised Sammy.
Now, as his latest run winds down in his home province, the comic has set his sights on Paris. Today he joins Shad to explain his European ambitions, and why he's confident his unique mix will work for audiences overseas.
