Best of Q: Do you hear Apple's Siri in Susan Bennett's voice?

Jian explores the personal story of the woman who came out as Siri last fall. Hear for yourself!
It's a voice heard by millions every day -- whether they're asking for directions, checking the weather or asking silly questions for a laugh -- but how many people would recognize the human voice behind Apple's digital assistant, Siri?

In a conversation from the Best of Q, Jian explores the personal story of Susan Bennett, the Atlanta-based voice actor who came out as the voice of Siri last fall. Bennett -- who has also lent her vocal chords to telephone banking services, GPS devices, and Delta Air Lines -- opens up on what it's like to hear herself through the speakers of ubiquitous Apple gadgets.

Although Apple won't confirm that Bennett is the real Siri, we want you to be able to hear for yourselves. Do her tone and timbre ring a bell?

Here's a very short snippet of Susan speaking to Jian. What do you think? Sans tuning, does she still sound like Apple's digital aid?

The original segment aired on December 9, 2013.
