Wherever you live, you've probably noticed that weed culture is gradually becoming more mainstream. That's going to happen more and more now that legalization is underway in Canada.

As a nation, we have a duty to get up to speed on classic stoner comedy. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong created a culture and a conversation around marijuana at a time when it wasn't really a topic you could just casually bring up at brunch.

The duo have been in high demand this year, especially in Canada. The folks at Air Farce have booked Tommy Chong for their annual New Years Eve special on CBC and we've been trying to get him on q ever since weed was legalized back in October.

Now, the comedian and marijuana activist has joined Tom Power to look back at his career and the first joint he ever smoked — the one that changed everything.
