Award-winning cartoonist Jeff Lemire talks about the inspiration for his new graphic novel and how he feels about his work being adapted for the screen.
Jeff Lemire's new graphic novel Frogcatchers is an intimate, personal and surreal story — but it comes at a time when the award-winning cartoonist's profile is rising.
Lemire has about 10 screen adaptations of his work in development, including a CBC TV adaptation of his book Essex County and a screen adaptation of his superhero comic book series Black Hammer.
He joined q's Tom Power live in studio to talk about the inspiration for Frogcatchers and how he balances collaboration with very personal work.
