It was no surprise to Michael Brun when he heard U.S. President Donald Trump call his country a "shithole." Brun is a Haitian DJ and producer who grew up hearing that he came from a poor and undesirable place — but that messaging doesn't sync up with the Haiti that he knows. To him, Port-au-Prince is a colourful place full of joy and parties that last from sunset to sunrise.
