Maestro Fresh Wes rallies Raptors fans with new anthem, Jurassic Park

Last night in Toronto, the Golden State Warriors narrowly beat the Toronto Raptors by one point. Now the best-of-seven series heads back to Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., for Game 6 on Thursday, where the Raptors will have another chance to bring the NBA championship to Canada for the first time ever.
In the meantime, Toronto rapper Maestro Fresh Wes is inspiring Canada with a new song he wrote for the Raptors and their fans, which also features Toronto producer Rich Kidd.
The anthemic new song is called Jurassic Park, named after the viewing area outside of Toronto's Scotiabank Arena.
"I thought, how cool would it be to write a song about the fans and where fans congregate?" said Maestro. "I got a slogan: don't make records, make history. So when we constructed the song, I said, 'Rich, when we writing it, don't name drop. Don't name drop on this because we don't want something that's timely, we want something that's timeless."
Maestro and Rich Kidd joined host Tom Power live in the q studio to perform Jurassic Park, debrief on yesterday's game and share how they're feeling about the team moving forward.
