Sarah McLachlan will host the 2019 Juno Awards on March 17. Ahead of the announcement, she sat down with Tom Power to talk about the nerve-racking new gig.

Yesterday, it was announced that Sarah McLachlan will host the 2019 Juno Awards on March 17 in London, Ont. Throughout the years, the singer-songwriter has been a performer, presenter and winner at the Junos, as well as inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, but this job will require a different kind of performance.

Ahead of the announcement, McLachlan sat down with Tom Power at The Sarah McLachlan School of Music in Vancouver to talk about her nerve-racking new gig. The Sarah McLachlan School of Music has been giving free musical training to kids in Vancouver since 2001.

The full Juno Awards show will air on Sunday, March 17 on CBC. Watch the full career-spanning interview with McLachlan above.
