Jann Arden, one of Canada's best loved musicians, saw her whole life change when her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and her father passed away. For the past several years, Arden has been cooking for her mother, spending time with her in the kitchen as they navigate this difficult chapter in both of their lives. It's a chapter that she's living through while continuing to keep up with her career as a singer-songwriter.

Arden has a new record coming out on Friday, March 16 and will be at the Juno Awards the following weekend. She joins Tom Power to talk about how she's balancing her career and family, and what it's like being "a mother to her mother" in her new song and book Feeding My Mother.
