Margo Price on songwriting and the failure of the American Dream

Acclaimed country music singer Margo Price performs a few songs off her record All American Made and talks about what it's like to be called the next great Nashville star.

Talk to a musician and they might tell you, sometimes it feels like there are only two ways to make it in music. Either you're in the right place at the right time, or you scrap out a foothold in a difficult business with every ounce of strength you have. You put it all on the line, and then, with just enough luck, things may start to come together.

That's how it went for country music singer Margo Price. She dropped out of college to head to Nashville in 2003. Now, 15 years later, her hard work is paying off.

Price dropped by the q studio to perform a few songs off her record All American Made, and talks about what it's like to be called the next great Nashville star.
