Jael Richardson is q's books columnist. She drops by every couple weeks to fill us in on a new book to check out. Today, she talks about David Szalay's novel Turbulence, in which each chapter follows a different person on or after a flight. Szalay was born in Montreal, but grew up in London and now lives in Budapest. His previous novel, All That Man Is, was shortlisted for the 2016 Man Booker Prize.
