Question Period - Learning from a Living Dinosaur
What would we learn from a living dinosaur
This is our occasional feature - the Quirks & Quarks Question Period. You think of a question, and we ask a Canadian scientist to tell us the answer. And today's question comes from Chris Guenther of Woodinville, in Washington State, who asks:
"If we had a single dinosaur alive today, what could we learn about it that we can't learn from current paleontology?"
To help us answer this question, we contacted Dr. David Evans, Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
