Meet the team
Leah-Simone Bowen is a writer, director and producer and the host of Podcast Playlist. on CBC Radio One. She is a Toronto-based, first generation Canadian whose family hails from Barbados.
Falen Johnson is a writer, host and producer. She was a Governor General finalist and was named one of Maclean's 20 people to watch in 2020. She is Mohawk and Tuscarora from Six Nations and now lives in Montreal.
Eunice Kim is an audio producer, story editor and journalist. She's produced, developed and helped launch over a dozen award-winning shows at CBC Podcasts. She is a 1.5-generation Korean Canadian based in the GTA.
Graham MacDonald is a sound designer and producer with CBC Podcasts. He has contributed to over a dozen series during his 5 years at the CBC. He currently lives in Toronto.
Roshini Nair is a digital producer with CBC Podcasts. She is based in Vancouver and previously worked with CBC News' digital team for five years.
Yvette Nolan is an accomplished playwright, dramaturge, director and author. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to an Algonquin mother and an Irish immigrant father, she has lived in Winnipeg, Whitehorse, Guysborough, Toronto, and currently, Saskatoon.
Andrea Eidinger is an award-winning historian and writer who lives and works in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Andrea's research focuses on the intersections of gender and ethnicity in postwar Canada, with a particular emphasis on the role of Jewish women in shaping Jewish-Canadian identity. She has published her work in various academic journals and blogs, and spent over ten years teaching at various universities across British Columbia and Quebec. Andrea studied history at McGill University and University of Victoria, where she earned her Ph.D. in Canadian history.
