Toronto Coach House I: Walter’s Wall

Walter Callaghan is a former medic with the Canadian forces. By sheer chance, our sleepover is happening across the street from Moss Park Armoury, where he served with the 25th Regiment.

This brings up a dark passage in his life that lead to chronic pain, psychological distress, and PTSD. Walter was given a medical release just months shy of his full pension. Walter left the military over a decade ago, but still finds himself living the past.

In an intense exchange, Walter attempts to open up to a teenager and a woman living with cancer.
