That algorithm has some mad flow, yo.

DeepBeat may be a computer program, but it can also rhyme like a rapper.
Rap artists, plotted by their rhyme factor, as plotted by researcher Eric Malmi.

A university researcher in Finland has answered the question -- if computers can recognize and analyze rap rhymes, can they also generate them?

Eric Malmi is part of the group of researchers at Aalto University who developed DeepBeat. The computer program depends on an algorithm that is able to mine pre-existing lyrics by rappers from Eminem to Jay-Z and combine them to create its own, new rap. The songs the computer can generate may not make logical sense now, but Eric explains to Nora how it can out-rap any rapper.
