Tom Power, Rosanna Deerchild and Carol Off face off in "Shut Up! I'm Thinking"
You may know it as "fictionary," or "The Dictionary Game." The Canadian couple who made it into a commercial game, called it "Balderdash." Here at The Sunday Edition, we call it "Shut Up! I'm Thinking."
I'm not sure anybody calls it a "parlor game" anymore, but that's what it is — a word game in which bluffing, a love of language, and just plain bare-faced lying may win you untold wealth, fabulous prizes...or in our case, the coveted "S.U.I.T." baseball cap.
For the second annual "Shut Up! I'm Thinking" competition, we asked three CBC Radio One hosts to enter our lexical lions' den: Carol Off, host of As It Happens, Rosanna Deerchild, host of Unreserved, and Tom Power, host of q.
"Shut Up! I'm Thinking" was produced by Talin Vartanian.
