Do we go too far when punishing people who abuse dogs?

The CEO of a continent-wide food services company has  resigned after a video emerged of him kicking a dog in a Vancouver elevator. The incident caused outrage across North America, but National Post columnist (and dog owner) Barbara Kay says it was all a bit much. We gave her 180 seconds to explain why kicking a dog should result in someone losing a job.
