Got milk? Author argues it's time to ditch the dairy
We have it in our cereal, our coffee, all alone in a glass, maybe it's a slice of cheese.
Milk is something most Canadians consume every day. But now a new book questions why that food should have its own food group. And that has sparked a debate on why milk should take such a special place in our diets.
We speak with Alissa Hamilton, author of "Got Milked?", and Douglas Goff, a professor in the Department of Food Sciences at the University of Guelph.
