Today on The Current

Nunavut has avoided the rising COVID-19 numbers in the south, until recently. As the territory enters a two-week lockdown, Matt Galloway talks to CBC journalist Selma Eccles in Rankin Inlet, Joe Karetak, a health research coordinator at the Aqqiumavvik Society in Arviat, and the territory's Health Minister Lorne Kusugak in Iqaluit.

Plus, when it comes to fighting climate change, Seth Klein says losing is not an option. That's part of why he thinks we need to tackle it with the same all-hands-on-deck approach that Canada brought to the Second World War. He tells us about his new book, A Good War: Mobilizing Canada for the Climate Emergency.

Then, while the world waits for a vaccine, one doctor is tracking the drugs being used to treat the illness. Dr. David Fajgenbaum discusses some of the new and experimental treatments.

And Edmonton illustrator Kyle Charles tells us about being tapped by Marvel Comics to draw part of its Indigenous Voices issue.
