John Major dissects "judicial oversight" aspect of C-51

Several critics have been arguing that the government's new anti-terrorism legislation lacks new oversight mechanisms. The government's response to that has included what they refer to as "judicial oversight." We ask retired Supreme Court Justice John Major for his take on that argument.

Several critics have been arguing that the government's new anti-terrorism legislation  lacks new oversight mechanisms. The government's response to that has included what they refer to as "judicial oversight." John Major is a retired Supreme Court Justice. He was part of a group former Prime Ministers, Supreme Court judges and Justice Ministers that publicly criticized the government's bill.
