Actress Jennifer Podemski and the book she's been reading lately on the set of Hard Rock Medical.

Books make great companions when there's down time on the set of a movie or TV show. Our new series asks actors and directors to call in with a book that has helped them pass the time. In this segment, we hear from Jennifer Podemski. She's been acting since her teens, and she's acted in and produced many shows, including The Rez, Moccasin Flats and the recent paranormal series Out There. Here's what she's reading on set:

Podemski with her on-set read. (Jennifer Podemski)
I actually don't have a ton of time to read — I have a four-year-old and a six-year-old, and a lot of projects on my plate right now. I was on set shooting Hard Rock Medical, though, and I was reading a pretty amazing book called Bite Me, by Ally Hilfiger. She's actually a Lyme disease sufferer, and has been battling it for many years, as am I. I read a lot about Lyme disease, and I really like this book because it's a personal account. It's a great, easy read, and I relate to everything in the book. So anyone out there who is suffering from Lyme disease or knows someone who is, I highly recommend this book.
