Why Byram Joseph plans to "just go with the flow" as a parent

Byram Joseph, aka Slakah the Beatchild, is a prolific musician, songwriter, producer and one half of the group Dreamspeed. He's expecting his first child, so is currently reading Parenting by Amber Dusick.

I'm doing that first-time parent thing, finding books. A lot of experienced parents are telling me, "Don't even listen to the books, just go with the flow." This book, in particular, does just that. The author goes with the flow. She never gives you advice. It's just stories of what her children do. You get an idea of the process and what it's like to be a parent from an honest perspective. She highlights the not-so-pretty things about parenting, but on every page you're laughing. She is really, really funny.
