Tia Brazda on why you should read Watch How We Walk by Jennifer LoveGrove
It's an inside look at the Jevovah's Witness religion, through the eyes of a young girl.
Jazz singer Tia Brazda stopped by The Next Chapter to tell us why she loved Watch How We Walk by Jennifer LoveGrove.
I think everyone is curious about what goes on in the Jehovah's Witness society, and this book is really from the perspective of an insider. The main character is a young girl named Emily. Emily is just starting to question the lifestyle of the Jehovah's Witness religion and her parents attitudes towards things. Her older sister Lenora becomes punk and Emily starts seeing her live a double life. Emily is young and naive and is trying to make sense of everything and she's full of imagination. I would totally recommend it.
