Canadian field hockey team ties Ireland

The Canadian men's field hockey team tied Ireland 3-3 Thursday evening in the second match of the European Tour.  

The 12-day international contest serves as an Olympic preparation for the team, ranked 15th in the world by the International Hockey Federation. The team will play Pakistan on Saturday.  

Scorers in Thursday's match were Mark Pearson, Bindi Kullar and Peter Short.  

The Olympic roster will be announced on June 26, and the team will regroup in Vancouver on July 4 for training camp.
