The Toronto Blue Jays made changes to their Major League roster on Saturday, placing second baseman Ryan Goins on the disabled list while recalling pitchers Drew Hutchison and Aaron Loup according to Arden Zwelling.

Goins, who pitched the 18th inning of Friday's marathon game against the Cleveland Indians, was placed on the 15-day DL with forearm tightness. The Blue Jays said he sustained the injury while pitching.

Toronto also optioned relief pitcher Bo Schultz to Triple-A.

Those two roster spots were taken by Hutchison and Loup.

Hutchison has started one game for the Blue Jays this season, while spending most of his time in Buffalo with the team's Triple-A affiliate. He's 6-3 with a 2.78 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in 15 starts with the Bisons.

Loup has appeared in seven games with the big club this season, giving up four earned runs in the four innings he has pitched.
