Drake taunts Bulls guard into 5-second violation
Toronto rapper receiving praise for trash-talking efforts
As the Toronto Raptors were trying to mount a comeback against the Chicago Bulls at the Air Canada Centre on Monday, the team's global ambassador did his part to help the cause.
Standing near his courtside seat, Drake taunted Bulls guard Justin Holiday while he was attempting to in-bound the ball with 25 seconds remaining and Chicago clinging to a 106-103 lead.
Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg appeared to take exception to Drake's tactics that may have played a role in forcing Holiday into a five-second violation.
The Raptors had their chances late in the game, including that extra possession, but they couldn't totally cash in and lost to the Bulls for the ninth straight time, 109-107.
However, many of those watching gave the Toronto rapper the thumbs up.

And there was also some speculation about what he might have been saying to Holiday.
Drake told son he could Be OvO if he threw this game pic.twitter.com/rY6QQdXm1j

But not everyone was willing to give Drake credit for the turnover.
Love how people are saying @Drake caused the 5 second violation...uhhhh pretty sure it was the Raptors man coverage that caused it...
