Alouettes name Jones DB coach

The Montreal Alouettes named Daronte Jones defensive backs coach Monday to complete a staff for head coach Marc Trestman that is largely unchanged from last season.

Jones was defensive assistant with the UCLA Bruins last season after five years as assistant head coach and defensive co- ordinator at Bowie State.

The Alouettes had promoted Tom Tibesar to defensive co-ordinator after Tim Burke joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers staff.

Returning coaches are offensive co-ordinator and quarterbacks coach Scott Milanovich, special teams and running backs coach Andy Bischoff, Mike Sinclair for the defensive line, Marcus Brady for receivers, Jonathan Himebauch for the offensive line, Carson Walch as offensive and special teams assistant and Jean-Marc Edme as defensive assistant.
