Laurent Duvernay-Tardif highest rated ahead of 2014 Canadian college draft
The CFL Scouting Bureau has listed Laurent Duvernay-Tardif of the McGill Redmen as the top prospect for the 2014 Canadian college draft.
The six-foot-five, 305-pound Duvernay-Tardif was one of four offensive linemen named Wednesday in the September rankings list of the top 15 draft prospects.
St. Francis Xavier University receiver Devon Bailey was ranked second and Montreal University offensive lineman David Foucault was third. Offensive lineman Pierre Lavertu and defensive back Adam Thibault, both of the Laval Rouge et Or, rounded out the top five.
The next ranking list will be released after the Canadian Interuniversity Sport football season is complete.
The CFL Scouting Bureau is comprised of scouts, player personnel directors and general managers from around the league.
