NFL: Must-see moments of Week 2

We're only two weeks into the NFL season, but there's been no shortage of excitement thus far. We have rookies piling up highlights, quarterbacks trucking defenders, Patriots players stiff-arming and hurdling their way to victory, and Los Angeles upsetting the Seattle Seahawks for their first win in the City of Angels since 1994.

Here are some of the NFL's must-see moments from a memorable Week 2:

Rams bring victory formation back to L.A.

After getting demolished in week one by the San Francisco 49ers, hopes were not high for the Rams home return to Los Angeles, especially since they were set to play the Seattle Seahawks. But they pulled off the stunning upset, winning the battle of field goals 9-3.

The game was over when the Seahawks, who were driving down the field with under one minute left, fumbled away their chance to gain the lead. The Rams recovered, set up in the victory formation, and Los Angeles football fans got back on the winning side. 

Defensive 2-pt conversion?

The first quarter was a nightmare for the Baltimore Ravens. The game was just more than 10 minutes old and the Cleveland Browns had already put three touchdowns on the board.

After that, they should be leading 21-0, right? Wrong. On the extra-point attempt after their third touchdown (Corey Coleman's second of the day, also the first two of his career), the Ravens blocked the kick and returned it all the way to the endzone, resulting in two points.

How you ask? under a new NFL rule implemented last season, if a defence returns a PAT, they are rewarded two points. This made the score 20-2, and Baltimore would go on to win the game 25-20. 

Blount, Bennett show off their skills

The New England Patriots climbed out to a 31-3 lead over the Miami Dolphins on the strength of Jimmy Garopollo's arm, but when he went down with injury, Jacoby Brissett needed to come in for relief. That almost created disaster, but the Patriots held on for a 31-24 win.

Throughout it all, running back LaGarrette Blount and tight end Martellus Bennett showed off their hurdling and stiff-arm skills. Dolphins defenders, we're sorry.

Fuller house

Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Will Fuller went off in week one, putting up 107 yards and a touchdown, so naturally, defences would pay more attention to the speedster in his second career game.

Unfortunately the Chiefs didn't have an answer for him. It took Fuller less than three minutes to blow the top off the defence for a highlight-reel grab. Fuller would finish the day with 104 yards on four catches.

Titans upset Lions with late flurry

The Tennessee Titans did nothing almost the entire game against the Detroit Lions. Going into the fourth quarter, they were trailing 15-3. An early fourth-quarter touchdown pushed the deficit to 15-10, but a late connection between Marcus Mariota and Andre Johnson gave Tennessee the lead. It was a thing of beauty too, as Johnson made the grab over two Lions defenders.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford did punish a Titans defender, though. Maybe he found the Madden hit-stick. 

Jenkins takes it all the way home

Going into Sunday, lots of people were pegging the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants game as potentially the highest scoring of the week. It did not live up to that bill at all, as the Giants squeaked out a 16-13 win in a game that only produced one offensive touchdown. 

Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins scored the first touchdown of the game, returing a blocked field goal 65 yards to the house.
