Brooke Henderson reaches career milestone with top-10 ranking
Smith Falls, Ont. native had 2nd-place finish last month
Canadian golfer Brooke Henderson has cracked the top 10 in the women's Rolex Rankings for the first time in her career.Â
Despite not playing this past weekend, the 18-year-old, of Smith Falls, Ont., cemented the milestone after starting the year with four top-10 finishes in five events. The highlight of her impressive streak was a second-place finish at the Coates Golf Championship in February.
Henderson will compete this week in Phoenix for the JTBC Founders Cup, where she will look to improve on her position. The teenage sensation has said that her ultimate goal is to eclipse top-ranked Lydia Ko.Â
