Mess with Carey and you'll pay the Price
What happened to the mild-mannered Canadiens goalie fans know and love?
There's a new contender for heavyweight champion of the NHL and his name is Carey Price.
After a collision between the Montreal Canadiens goaltender and New Jersey's Kyle Palmieri late in the first period Thursday, there's no question who leads the Habs in shots:
Price, who recently came back from injury, has been a force to be reckoned with for the Canadiens. After seeing the goaltender "throw down" many fans were quick to defend his actions.
If a player makes no effort to avoid contact on a goalie they deserved to get grounded and pounded. <a href="https://twitter.com/CP0031">@CP0031</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NJDvsMTL?src=hash">#NJDvsMTL</a>

While others felt as though Price should have been ejected:
Carey Price pummeling a defenseless Kyle Palmieri. Will be surprised if he's not suspended by NHL. Per the rule book - should be out of game
—@DebPlacey
Carey price should have been thrown out of the game after punching kyle palmieri who was completely defenseless
—@hvrenegades2001
Carey Price should be suspended for that.

Maybe most of us should be afraid that the calm, cool and collected Price temporarily lost his mind.
Carey Price went from innocent goaltender to world class boxer in the matter of seconds

<a href="https://twitter.com/MyKuchIsOnPoint">@MyKuchIsOnPoint</a> Carey Price is the most composed player in the league, of HE can lose his senses anybody can

The biggest question of the night is will the NHL punish Price or will they let it slide?
Since it's Carey Price, we just don't know.
"Did you see that guy repeatedly punch a guy while they were down?"<br><br>"No but wow who was that jerk?"<br><br>"Carey Price."<br><br>"Oh never mind LOL."

In honour of this epic throw-down, here's Phildelphia Flyers' Ron Hextall making a name for himself.
