Jaromir Jagr scores 750th NHL goal
Panthers veteran 3rd on career goal list
Jaromir Jagr reached another career milestone on Thursday night.
The 44-year-old Florida Panthers winger scored his 750th NHL goal against the Washington Capitals, one of his seven former teams.
Jagr, who is in his 23rd NHL season, now sits third on the career goal-scoring list behind Wayne Gretzky (894) and Gordie Howe (801). The Czech native is also third on the career points list behind Gretzky (2,857) and only 17 points shy of Mark Messier (1,887).

"I had a lot of chances in the games before but I couldn't put the puck in," Jagr told The Associated Press after the game. "I'm glad I did tonight."

Jagr's goal wasn't enough for the Panthers, as the Capitals scored two unanswered goals in the third to win 4-2.
